- Intro
- Pintopay is a service provider offering comprehensive cryptocurrency payment solutions through virtual and physical cards linked to a mobile application. This platform enables users to convert cryptocurrencies into fiat currencies, facilitating everyday transactions worldwide.
- The challenge
- When I came into the company there were only two designers, and one of them was UX/UI. They had problems with deadlines and couldn’t ship all designs in time. I needed to design two core features in a month, and it was a challenge to accomplish.
My main work
Multi-token and multi-card features
- What’s the purpose
- To ship core features on time and test them with new users to increase retention and MRR.
- Key metrics
- Success for me was if the new UI would be understandable for users during the test.
Multi-token feature
I focused on the multi-token functionality, which enabled users to manage multiple types of tokens such as USDT, Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Binance Coin.
Over the course of several sprints, I designed, tested, and implemented these features, which significantly improved the product and expanded its capabilities.
New UI of…
Multi-card feature
It was a terrifying task because of its complexity and the amount of work to accomplish.
Then I moved on to developing the multi-card functionality, allowing users to add and manage multiple cards.
The thing that was different from previous tasks was that I needed to integrate a custom KYC procedure from a provider we had — and the trickiest part: we had to change provider twice.
Carousel
We had several variants for our main screen. But the goal for Pintopay was to release ASAP, so we chose the first variant, as it was a customized screen we had for a card.

As a result…
As a result of my work at this company, the shipping workflow was redesigned, and handing designs off to the dev team became 42% faster.
